The virtual schools, SEND and inclusion teams refer students for one to one tuition if they are not in education for reasons including: Exclusion due to behaviour Unable to attend school due to anxiety, depression or other mental health difficulties School cannot meet the additional needs of the child (for example ASD, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, physical disabilities) Student is LAC and/or is new to the borough Generally you will be required to provide one to one tuition for maths and English at functional skills or foundation GCSE level. There is occasionally the opportunity to support children with other subjects (art, PSHE, music, languages). Tuition referrals range from an hour a day to four hours a day, and normally take place in the closest public library to the student.
