TLTP are currently looking to recruit a KS2 ASD/SLD teacher to start in January 2021. This is a full-time, 5 day per week post. TLTP need to find someone who has experience of Manual Handling (as there is 1 non-ambulant pupil with Angelman's Syndrome who has particularly challenging needs in this area) as well as someone equipped to work with low-ability ASD pupils who have sensory processing issues. As a result, the school sometimes have to manage challenging behaviours.

About the job Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in KS1 in a vibrant primary school in Christchurch. The position is to support the child with managing their behaviour, and with social interaction, communication and academic development. The position is to begin in November on a fixed-term basis subject to funding. The school has high expectations for the children, and staff work hard to ensure that every child receives the provision they need to reach their potential.


Teaching Personnel are currently working with a SEMH Specialist School in Burgess Hill. Due to the needs of the students, they are unable to access attend mainstream education. Students can pose challenging behaviours with each class supported by a Teaching Assistant. The school cater for a low total of students with an average of 5 or 6 students in a class.


Do you have experience supporting behaviour within a Secondary School? My partner secondary schools in Bradford, are currently seeking to appoint confident behaviour support assistants to work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis during the school day. Some of these roles will be assiting in the mainstream classroom and some will be working within the schools behaviour and inclusion unit. Working as a Behaviour Support Assistant within these mixed comprehensive secondary schools in Bradford, you will be expected to have experience supporting students with additional learning needs, and challenging behaviour across KS3 and KS4.


Teaching Personnel are working with an Alternative Provision based in Burgess Hill to find them a resilient and adaptive Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with students, aged 7-16, with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Students enrolled will present a lot of challenging behaviour, positive approaches and techniques to de-escalate this behaviour are crucial. Training or qualifications in Teaching Assistant or behaviour management is not essential but would be very beneficial. The candidate will also be spending time as a general TA when not working 1:1.
