At Fresh Start in Education, we specialise in the re-engagement of students who are out of education. This includes students who are at risk of exclusion or have already been permanently or temporarily excluded, school refusers, young offenders, those with emotional or behavioural difficulties, serious health issues or those who are generally disengaged from education. We work with all ages from early years through to adult.
We provide bespoke, child-centred, high quality education programmes, which ensure that all the students that we work with have outstanding opportunities to re-integrate into regular or specialist education. We provide the encouragement and tools for students to develop and apply the knowledge, skills and understanding that will help them become successful at learning, confident as individuals and to live productive and responsible lives.
Taking the time to understand their needs and work with them to help them achieve their goals, means that you go home at the end of the day feeling satisfied and full of respect for the children in your care, and admiring of the milestones they have managed to achieve.
We successfully reintegrate disaffected students back into education, training or work and we're looking for experienced and inspirational individuals to join our team and support more young people and give them hope for a future. (We recommend a minimum of 2 working days) A commitment to keeping children and young people safe, and a practical and up to date knowledge of Safeguarding. We support disadvantaged students achieve their academic goals and are a leading reputable provider of alternative and supplementary education to schools and local authorities, supporting children from all backgrounds through one-to-one and small group tuition programmes. We'll match you to students based on location, availability & experience and you'll support them on a 1:1 basis in a 6 to 12-week placement. The Behaviour Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their goals, and promoting a positive and inclusive environment. (Days and times are arranged with yourself before placements start) - so work around a timetable to suit your needs.
