About our company

Bayleaf Care is committed to providing outstanding nurture and care for children and young people from all over the United Kingdom. It is recognised that providing a high standard of care for children who have experienced severe trauma in their formative years is a challenging and complex task. Our approach is based on a therapeutic model called PACE. This approach is a way of thinking, feeling, and being aware of our conduct that aims to make the child feel safe and cared for. The approach is based on how parents connect with their own children to build positive relationships and attachment.

The genesis of our work is with the keyworker, as it is important for the child to form a safe and secure attachment with one individual rather than expecting them to negotiate multiple relationships soon after their arrival. In essence, the keyworker plays a crucial role for our children and young people throughout the duration of their placement and beyond.

Bayleaf Care provides individualised, therapeutic care, treatment and education that is overseen by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained and professional staff members. The focus is to help children learn to manage their emotions and behaviours through the development of safe and trusting relationships within a group setting.
