SEN Teaching Assistant We are currently recruiting for a caring and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a warm and vibrant primary school in Crumpsall. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate or Support Worker with SEN experience or a Residential Support Worker looking to pursue a career within education! About the role: 1:1 and small group support for children with Autism Based in KS1 You will need to have the ability to build rapport with students and staff CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS: * Location - Crumpsall * Position - SEN Teaching Assistant * Start date - ASAP * End date (if applicable) - July 2022 * Full time/part time - Part time * The minimum rate of pay - £45/60 per day * Hours - 8:30 - 14:00 (Monday to Thursday) 08:30 - 12:30 (Fridays) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS - Previous experience working with Autism - Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable - Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as Safeguarding training is provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH US, YOU MUST: - Hold Right to Work in the UK - Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application - Provide two professional references If this role appeals to you, click 'apply now.' We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work morning hours in a Primary school in Crumpsall on a long term basis. The role will be working with children with SEN needs so it would be ideal for someone with this experience. The hours will be working 8:30 - 13:30 Monday to Thursday and finishing earlier at 12:30 on Friday. The ideal applicant would have an up to date enhanced DBS, preferably on the update service, and a Teaching Assistant qualification.
