We are currently recruiting for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted 'GOOD' Secondary School (age 11 - 16) in the Latimer area, who specialise in supporting students with needs including Autism, Social/Emotional/Mental Health, Communication and Anxiety. The position will involve providing classroom support to students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, you will also be delivering various sessions throughout the week, this will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately. Location: West London (Latimer) Contract Type: Long Term Start Date: Immediate Duration: 5 days a week The successful applicants will have: Previous experience working with Autism, SEMH and/or EBD Previous experience managing challenging behavior Ideally experience working with children and/or young people Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check The role will consist of: Offering support to the class teacher Deliver various sessions throughout the week Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans Building good student - teacher rapport If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up-to-date CV.
