Full-time Behaviour Support Worker – Doncaster – October 2021 An alternative provision in Doncaster are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker on a full-time basis from October 2021. This is a contracted role until March 2022 in the first instance. We are seeking a Behaviour Support Worker who is committed to supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and who has previous experience of de-escalation strategies with young people who can exhibit challenging behaviours. Our client is an established provider of alternative education, and offers a blended approach of Functional Skills in Maths and English alongside vocational subjects.
An Alternative Provision in Doncaster are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work closely with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs from October 2021. This is a part-time role (3-4 days per week). Our client is located centrally in Doncaster and provides a part-time alternative to mainstream education where young people can learn practical skills in Entry Level Qualifications. There are currently 17 pupils on roll who access the provision on a part-time basis, and this is expected to increase to 25 students in the Autumn term.

This to support transition for pupils returning to school in the new academic year. We currently have part-time and full-time positions available. Pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) require specialist support from Teaching Assistants to support them through the transition back into school.
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with young people with Special Educational Needs this term. Our client is located in Carlton, Barnsley and caters for young people aged 11-18. Co-located with a mainstream secondary school, pupils access learning via a Resourced Provision and require specific, targeted support both within the SEND hub and in their mainstream lessons. A large part of your role will be to effectively manage challenging behaviour and provide support for pupils to engage with their learning.
We are seeking 1:1 tutors to facilitate the learning and development of young people across South Yorkshire from September 2021. We have a number of positions available in Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield. We work with a wide-range of young people in the region from a variety of settings, who have a diverse set of needs, including: Children Looked After (CLA) Pupils who are unable to attend school due to medical needs Pupils who have been excluded from mainstream education due to SEMH needs Young people with SEND who are awaiting placement in a special school or the allocation of specific provision as outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) We are ideally looking to appoint experienced tutors who are seeking alternate roles in education and who enjoy working on a 1:1 basis with young people. Successful applicants will be confident in designing a programme of learning for a young person in a temporary role and supporting them to move on to their next phase of education.
We are currently seeking tutors who are able to facilitate learning for pupils on a 1:1 basis in South Yorkshire. We work with a range of services including local councils, virtual schools and SEND school settings across the region, who cater for young people with a diverse set of learning needs. As a tutor, it will be your responsibility to support pupils in preparing for exams, during transition to a new area or new setting, and to provide high quality education to support learning and ensure continuity and progression. You will be working either within the young person's home or within a residential care or community setting.
We are currently recruiting Support Workers to help deliver catch-up programmes across the Autumn term. We are seeking experienced Care Assistants and Support Workers to support pupils with access to learning activities within special school and alternative provision settings throughout South Yorkshire during the first term of the academic year. We are seeking Support Workers based in Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster and Sheffield who are available for a minimum of 3 days a week during term time. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdowns, a large number of pupils missed a significant time without access to formal learning during the 2020/2021 academic year.
