As a SEMH Teacher based in these highly complex settings, you will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons for small groups of 4 to 8 children. Working as a SEMH teacher requires a holistic approach, focusing on the whole child, academic development is only possible when you address the primary need first.
DT/Construction Instructor We require an exceptional Design & Technology instructor at a SEMH School based in Harrogate who is passionate about providing the best possible education and care for vulnerable students in an inspiring learning environment. You will have your own purpose-built workshop which you will have the opportunity to develop. Funding has been set aside to work with the successful candidate to develop this fantastic space. DT is a very important subject for SEMH students, and you will be given the flexibility to design a programme suited to the needs of the students.
KS2 Nurture Teacher - Permanent We are currently working in partnership with a special educational needs school on an exciting new SEN Teaching vacancy in Barnsley. Starting in September, the school is looking for an outstanding SEN KS2 Nurture Teacher to join them on a permanent basis. What they are looking for is someone who has the ability to work with learners who have SEMH issues and those who are disengaged from education. Your Role: Delivering the lesson to learners with complex learning needs Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class Providing feedback to teachers and parents You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties and other Learning Disabilities.

This role will be working with learners with social, emotional and mental health issues and or a diagnosis of Autism. SEMH Primary Teacher - KS1/KS2 Nurture Group Your new company We are supporting a school in Barnsley recruiting a committed and passionate Class Teacher to work with their primary aged pupils on a long-term basis. This role has a September start and will continue for at least the Autumn term, with the potential to extend further into the academic year. Your new role You will be working within a small 'Nurture Group' of mixed KS1 and KS2 pupils who face social, emotional and mental health challenges. You will be responsible for teaching the National Curriculum, which includes planning, delivery and assessment of work.
