Resilient SEMH Behaviour Mentor – Long Term Full Time Premier Education are working in partnership with an Alternative Provision in Tameside who are looking for strong, resilient and dedicated behaviour mentors to support the teaching and learning of some challenging and vulnerable young people at one of their learning centres. The role is full time and long term and possibly permanent for the right person. Due to the nature of the needs in the provision candidates must be resilient, able to manage extreme and challenging behaviour and must be confident working in a wraparound care environment (no breaks during the day but shorter working day overall). Any experience with Proact Scip or Team Teach is ideal although not essential as there is a no physical intervention policy.


PMLD Teacher – Manchester Premier Education are currently working in partnership with a school in Manchester who are looking for a PMLD Teacher to start ASAP to cover a Maternity Leave. The role involves personal care and our client is dedicated to their ethos and multi-disciplinary approach to quality education for SEND pupils with Complex Needs. Due to the nature of the role all teachers must have a Child and Adult Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one. Premier Education are working in partnership with an Alternative Education Provider who is looking for an Operations Manager to start ASAP. The role is varied, full time and permanent and offers a car allowance and attractive salary amongst a number of other competitive benefits to the successful candidate. The company specialises in supporting the education, progress and development of young people between 11 and 19 who have a range of needs relating to Social, Emotional Mental Health and Behaviour. A lot of the young people in their care come from very vulnerable backgrounds so an ideal candidate must have an understanding of how to manage confidential information.


Premier Education are working in partnership with a specialist SEND provision in Manchester who are responsible for the education of children and young people aged 16 - 25 years old with disabilities, complex needs and autism. The provision has a multidisciplinary approach to learning and has expertise in supporting students with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. As a Learning Support Worker for this provision you will be expected to be comfortable providing personal care, working as part of a team and must have a solid understanding of working with those who have PMLD and Medical Needs. The main aspects of the role are: To provide support and guidance to the young people by removing barriers to learning To support and facilitate change and transition along the journey to excellence To contribute to all relevant aspects of planning, recording and evidencing progression in learning plans To be an active participant in supporting the timetable in all it's different contexts e.


Are you a teaching assistant looking to gain further experience within SEND? Premier Education is looking for specialist SEND Teaching Assistants or TAs with a passion and dedication to supporting children and young people with additional needs to work within a number of specialist settings across Stockport and Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a background or experience in supporting SEND pupils and will have experienced needs in a personal or professional capacity such as: ASD, EBD, PMLD or CLD students. Are you a BSL Specialist looking to use your qualification in schools and provisions? Premier Education is working in partnership with a number of provisions and specialist services that are looking for BSL Qualified support staff or interpreters to develop the language skills of children with hearing impairments or communication needs across Stockport. Ideal candidates will have BSL L2 or above and be confident in their ability to communicate using sign language. You must also be compassionate and able to work with children and young people with hearing impairments.
