Specialist SEND Teaching Assistants Premier Education has recently set up an SEND team and is looking for Good and Outstanding SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a number of their schools across Manchester and the North West. Whether you are looking for long or short term work or ad-hoc supply work we can help! In SEN provisions there is a high demand for Teaching Assistants and Support Staff due to the needs of the children and young people on roll. In some cases you may be required to support with personal care so ideally you must be comfortable feeding and changing.


Are you a teaching assistant looking to gain further experience within SEND? Premier Education is looking for specialist SEND Teaching Assistants or TAs with a passion and dedication to supporting children and young people with additional needs to work within a number of specialist settings across Stockport and Greater Manchester. The ideal candidate will have a background or experience in supporting SEND pupils and will have experienced needs in a personal or professional capacity such as: ASD, EBD, PMLD or CLD students. Successful candidates MUST be able to work as part of a team of professionals and: •    Support the class teacher with delivery of engaging and differentiated activities •    Be able to liaise with class teacher / SENCO regarding pupil progress and development in line with EHCP tracking •    Share good practice and work with other staff to discover effective methods for individual pupils Candidates will be empathetic and understanding of pupil's additional needs and be a calming presence for pupils.
