Cover Supervisor Full Time Leicester September 2021 We are looking for dynamic and motivated cover supervisors looking for work on a long term or permanent basis. Working as a cover supervisor can be extremely rewarding but it is also very demanding. The cover supervisor's main job is to manage a classroom, ensuring that students remain on task with the work they have been set by an absent teacher. Our schools are looking for cover supervisors who are confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best.

SEN Teaching Assistant Are you looking for your next role in education? We are delighted to be working alongside one of our partner schools in the Leicestershire area who are looking to add a teaching assistant to their team to work alongside their pupils with special educational needs. The role will be full time (Mon-Fri) and will be contracted until July 2022 with a view to go permanent. The school require someone who: Holds at least one year's experience of working within a school Holds a teaching assistant qualification or relevant degree Must understand SEN including Autism Will be able to quickly build relationships with children and staff Is available to work Has a valid and up to date DBS The main duties within the role will be: Working 1-2-1 with children Helping the class teacher to engage SEN pupils in lessons Supporting children with reading, writing and phonics Liaising with the class teacher around pupil progress Helping the class teacher to engage SEN pupils in lessons Assisting the class teacher with the setup of the classroom Applications will only be accepted if you meet the above criteria.
