Are you a qualified higher level teaching assistant? Are you looking for your next role from February half term We are working with a school based around the DE7 area. The school are looking to appoint a higher level teaching assistant to work across KS1 and KS2. The main duties within this role will be: Working with higher profile SEN children across various classes Leading academic interventions with children working below age expected levels Covering the class teacher during PPA time Liaising with other teaching assistants across the school Following targets set on children's educational health care plans Supporting different class teachers across the school on a daily basis The school are looking for somebody who: Holds a relevant HLTA qualification or a minimum of 2 years' TA experience Is an excellent team player and will contribute to the school's longer term goals Has experience in supporting children with additional needs Is confident in leading whole classes Can think outside the box and offer inovative ideas to the team This is an excellent role within an excellent school.

Pupil referral unit - Teaching support We are currently seeking to appoint several members of staff for a pupil referral unit in the Derbyshire area. Ideally, HLTA/ TA with a background of working with SEND needs such as SEMH, EBD, ASD & ADHD would be the best fit for this client. All members of staff will have access to laptops and phones to complete their roles and specifically, will be working on a 1:1 basis with learners daily. Essential for this role: Driver's license Minimum one year's school-based experience Experience supporting SEN pupils Teamwork skills and an effective communicator The ability to think fast in emerging situations Outstanding behaviour management Excellent relationship building skills This is a challenging, but rewarding role, where successful candidates will have excellent progression opportunities.
