Are you passionate about supporting SEN children? Do you have the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff? LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a school in the NG16 area who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a child who has special educational needs. The role is full time and is due to start from December 2020 The main duties within the role will be: Working across the SEN hub within the school Supporting a child with autism and ASD on a 1:1 basis Helping the child progress academically throgh support in class Following the targets on the child's educational health care plan Running small group intervention sessions around speech and communication Assisting the class teacher with the delivery of maths and English sessions The school are only looking to aceept applications from people with: A teaching assistant qualification or relevant degree At least one years' experience working with children An understanding of working with pupils with additional needs Reliability, excellent attendance and punctuallity records The ability to act as a positive role model to pupils across the school An understanding of the primary school cirrculum Availability to start as soon as possible.

LTF Recruitment are working on an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to begin work on a full time basis within an autistic unit. The school is based in the NG16 area and the post will be full time and on a fixed term contract.
