1 to 1 ASD support Full-Time 2 form entry Primary School ASAP Start Long Term Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role ASAP? A well-run, 2 form entry primary school in London are looking to recruit an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1 to 1 basis. The year 4 pupil has Autism and will require patient and understanding SEN Teaching Assistant to provide extensive support in all lessons and outside the classroom. Your daily duties will include: Listening carefully to child and encouraging him to organise his speech and rehearsal of sentences.


Early Years Teaching Assistant Islington Payscale £80-90 PER DAY We are currently working with a great, local Primary School in the Islington area, who are seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant with Special needs support Experience to join their school's dedicated support staff team. The role will be on a full time basis for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. Main Duties will entail: Supervise and engage children in learning and play activities Closely work with pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom and encouraging them to engage in the curriculum Working with team members Adapting your support and approach according to needs of the children It will be desirable for the candidate to: Have knowledge of the Early Years curriculum Be confident and calm when managing challenging behaviour and Have a passion to support and engage children with a range of learning needs Experience working with children in early years with SEN Training and / or qualifications working with children with ASD is desirable Successful candidates will benefit from working at an inclusive school in a caring and friendly environment with an experienced and supportive senior leadership team. The school is in the Islington area and benefits from excellent facilities and nearby transport options.
