We are currently working with an alternative provision located
in the Western region of Leicestershire to source a Level 4
Specialist Teaching Assistant from after the February half term.
LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside one of our
partner schools in the Nottinghamshire area who are looking to add
a teaching assistant to their team to work alongside their pupils
who present with challenging behaviours. The role will be full time
(Mon-Fri) and will be contracted until the end of July 2021.
The school require someone who:
Has an understanding of how to work with pupils with
challenging behaviours
Holds at least one years' experience of working within a
school
Holds a teaching assistant qualification or relevant
degree
Has a fantastic attendance record and will be reliable
Will be able to quickly build relationships with children and
staff
Is available to work from February 2021
Has a valid and up to date DBS
The main duties within the role will be:
Working 1-2-1 with children who have: Autism, ADHD &
behavioural challenges
Leading small academic sessions with pupils on the SEN
register
Supporting children with reading, writing and phonics
Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO around pupil
progress
Helping the class teacher to engage SEN pupils in lessons
Assisting the class teacher with the setup of the
classroom

Are you a highly reliable and caring experienced Behaviour
Support Teaching Assistant?
LTF Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside one of our
partner schools in the NG8 area who are looking to add a 1:1
behaviour support assistant to their team to work alongside their
pupils who present with challenging behaviours. The role will be
full time (Mon-Fri) and will be contracted until the end of July
2021.
You will be working across KS1 & KS2, providing 1:1 and group
support for pupils who are showcasing challenging behaviour.
HLTA - SEN Support
A well-known and high achieving secondary school in
Leicestershire are looking for a Special needs HLTA with experience
working with emotional and behavioural difficulties and other SEND
needs. The school are looking to appoint on an ongoing basis for
the remainder of the academic year, but this role could become
permanent for the right candidate. The correct candidate will also
be responsible for working with students with ASD, ADHD and
Education Health Care plans.
The school are looking for people who have experience within a
similar situation/setting and that have value to add to their team.
Special Needs Teaching Assistants for 1:1 Support &
Intervention Groups
We are recruiting experienced SEN teaching assistants to support
schools in Derbyshire
The roles will involve working with children on a 1:1 and
intervention group basis. You will be required to have experience
working in a similar setting. The children will have a range of
needs that create challenges for them to successfully access the
curriculum.
The successful teaching assistants will be required to work in a
range of year groups.
