SEN (Autism) Class Teacher - January Start - Harrow Clarus Education are working with an established, ‘Outstanding' graded mainstream primary school in Harrow who are looking for a SEN/ ASD Class Teacher to start in January 2020 on a permanent school-based contract within their ASD Unit. Are you a Good/Outstanding SEN Class Teacher looking to work in a warm and supportive school this January? Job role: • Specialist Autism Teacher – Primary Phase • Additional responsibility is available (Lead Teacher), for the right SEN teacher • Consistent delivery of engaging and progressive lessons • No more than 10 students per class • Good TA-to-Student ratio • MPS1-UPS3 - £28,355 - £44,541 per annum + SEN Allowance + TLR (dependent upon candidate) • January 2020 start- Permanent school-based contract Ideal SEN Class Teacher: • Focussed and hardworking individual • Put the students' needs and progress at the forefront of everything • Good understanding of the curriculum • Competent and confident in working with Autism- other needs would be a bonus • Works well in a team and likes to have fun! • Can deliver Good or Outstanding lessons consistently School Details: • Ofsted ‘Outstanding' • Brilliant resources and facilities- sensory rooms and playground areas • Experienced and hard-working team of support staff • Predominantly Autistic needs, but not limited to ASD • Welcoming and friendly team of staff who love to have a good time outside of work!
