Welcome to Slindon, I have the privilege of leading a College offering an educational experience for those boys who struggle to fulfil their potential in independent and mainstream schools. The impact of our surroundings provides a calm and meaningful setting for a dedicated team of professionals to fully understand the individual and offer pathways for visible and long term success. The impact of social anxiety – feelings of acute self-consciousness – have been a barrier to progress, our approach reduces the anxiety and allows self-fulfilment.
At Slindon we want to work with each boy on a rounded social and educational development package, offering both nationally recognised examinations and social development targets agreed with parent and the child
‘Keep it small, know them all’ is a real message that reflects our total commitment to getting the very best outcomes for every boy in our charge. The College is evolving and hopefully building a legacy of respect, tolerance and happiness that will remain with the boys throughout their lives.
We would love to welcome you to the College and see the work we do first hand.
We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join
our dynamic and committed team predominantly based in our English
department. The successful candidate will work within this
supportive environment to contribute to the success of our pupils.
The post offers an opportunity to work with a range of young people
with social anxiety conditions who have additional education needs
requiring higher levels of differentiation in a small class
The Learning Support Assistant's (LSA) main role is to provide
support for the pupil/pupils with the educational healthcare plan.
