The school caters for children from primary all the way through to secondary. As a teaching assistant within the school you will be working 1:1 with a pupil in year 4 who has the funding agreed for the remainder of the academic year. If successful you will be supporting the pupil with their education health care plan.

Darlington - Teaching Assistant/Classroom Support Assistant We work in partnership with local special needs schools in Darlington and are looking for a TA/Classroom Support Assistant who is looking for bank work on part time basis. As a part time Teaching Assistant you will be expected to work between the hours of 9am to 3pm on an ad hoc basis. The teaching assistant role will entail working with children with special educational needs and will require a candidate to partake in the changing and feeding of the learners. Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is not essential, however we do ask that you have at least 3 months' experience working with children or alternatively have a background working as a health and social worker.
