These provisions are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants or those with high transferable skills to work on a supply basis. The successful candidates will become part of a growing team lending support to the SEND provisions in Northallerton and the wider North Yorks region. Your main focus will be to assist in the delivery on lessons, providing the support basis for both the Teachers and the pupils whilst delivering and meeting the needs of their Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) and help them progress in and out of the classroom.

Darlington - Teaching Assistant/Classroom Support Assistant We work in partnership with local special needs schools in Darlington and are looking for a TA/Classroom Support Assistant who is looking for bank work on part time basis. As a part time Teaching Assistant you will be expected to work between the hours of 9am to 3pm on an ad hoc basis. The teaching assistant role will entail working with children with special educational needs and will require a candidate to partake in the changing and feeding of the learners. Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant is not essential, however we do ask that you have at least 3 months' experience working with children or alternatively have a background working as a health and social worker.
