As Local authorities are experiencing a rise in the demand for services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), due to a direct result of the current covid 19 Pandemic, we have seen a huge increase in demand for labour support in this area. We are now actively seeking experienced and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants, SEN Speech & Language Assistants and general classroom TAs with specialist skills, to begin working with the LEA, in its established Primary and secondary schools as well as specialist independent SEN schools. We work with an array of large, small, and medium sized schools, across Oswestry, Shrewsbury, Telford, and south Shropshire. We are looking for dedicated and professional Specialist Support Assistants with a passion for special educational needs and who want to make a real difference to the lives of the children we work with.
We are currently looking to help secure a HLTA post within an SEN school in Shropshire. Working within this SEN school, you'll be working with children and young people aged 2½ to 19 and have a range of learning difficulties. These include moderate, severe, complex and profound learning difficulties, those with autism, complex medical conditions and physical and mobility difficulties. A number of the young people present behavioral difficulties arising from their condition; many have communication difficulties The role is for a High Level Teaching Assistants, to assist with an increased workload over the Academy.
