Friends and Families of Special Children is a Plymouth-based charity providing information, advice and activities to families with disabled children.
The charity was established in 2002 by a group of parents who found gaps in service provisions for children with disabilities and their families. The group gained charitable status in 2005 (Registered charity number 1140826).
What sets us apart from other organisations is our holistic approach. We provide support and services to the whole family.
In 2018 we featured in the Parliamentary Review as an example of best practice, and we featured in the 2019 Care Publication.
