Working on a full-time basis, the school welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced teachers. Working across the school, this will be a varied role that will require an individual who is flexible and able to think on their feet.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: At least 3 months relevant classroom experience or transferrable experience working with individuals with SEND  The role As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the delivery of lessons whilst also providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs.

About the role Responsibilities and duties: - Assisting students in their work, some support will be in small groups, some will be in classes, supporting a specific student, helping them to remain focused and on task - Working with small groups or in a 1:1 setting - Helping students to develop self-regulation techniques, and learn when they need to employ them - Be flexible and willing to work with students outside the classroom - Keeping students engaged in lessons About the school This school is based in North Bristol, and is easily accessible via public transport, it also has a large car park if you are a driver.
