Experienced SEN Support Assistant Required for Specialist School in North Leeds Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Additional training in ECS, Team Teach and/or Moving and Handing desirable Excellent communication skills Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Specialist SEN School in Knaresborough, looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant, to start in September 2020. The school caters for pupils aged 2-19 with a range of SEN (including Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language Delay). You will be required to work across the school, supporting pupils with a wide range of additional needs. Your role will be to support pupils requiring additional support with communication, including those pupils with a mechanical system of communication and PECS.
