Summary: Are you a Psychology or Criminology Graduate looking to get your foot into the education sector? Teaching Personnel are looking for Psychology or Criminology graduates to work with client special schools based in Newport and surrounding areas. You will be employed as specialist teaching assistants working with either special educational needs and or pupils with behaviour issues. Pay will start at £10.

Are you looking to gain experience teaching within an SEN Primary School with a class of only around 4-8 pupils? What we are looking for: We are looking for an SEN Primary Teacher to support a primary school catering for pupils with Mild Learning and Additional needs including; Autism, ADHD, ODD and Challenging behaviours.


Our residential School is open as usual, we are seeking staff to start as soon as possible.  We are recruiting for full time Support workers to work with children, we can offer you either night shifts or day shifts (you will never need to work a mix of both). The young people we care for have Autism or a similar disability. This is a full time, permanent opportunity.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Fully Qualified Teacher, who is either experienced or a specialist in working with students with Special Educational Needs to work within our Specialist Client Schools on a Supply basis. We work with a range of specialist schools for students with a range of complex learning needs, particularly around the Littleover area. Our schools support students with a range of needs usually within small classes that allow the development of speech, language, communication and life skills. The Role   To deliver high quality lessons to students with special educational needs (SEN) To develop lessons that ensure that effective learning takes place for all pupils To ensure that all pupils make progress during the lesson To support pupils across all ages with varying learning abilities To work across a group of key schools on a flexible basis The Candidate : Experience of teaching pupils with SEN - inparticular MLD, SEMH and ASC  Experience of dealing with challenging and sensitive situations Understanding of the theory and practice of providing effectively for the individual needs of all children Knowledge and understanding of the SEN Code of Conduct and its practical application strategies for meeting the SEN of students in a mixed ability classroom Expereince working with secondary age groups with pupils aged 11 - 16 but who may be working at KS2 and KS3 ability levels Some understanding of P Levels for complex needs students who are not able to access the National Curriculum due to their impaired cognitive abilit A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people   Please click APPLY NOW and send an up to date CV - we look foward to hearign from you!


A special needs School in the Eggington area are looking a KS3 Teacher from February 2021.  Set on beautiful grounds, in a gorgeous building and rated GOOD by Ofsted this school caters for students with autism and communication difficulties. No two days are ever the same at this school so we are looking for someone that has a real passion for education and a “can do” attitude. Whilst previous experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
