Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a SEN specialist school in Newcastle (NE2) who are seeking a full time Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with a variety of additional needs. The role will require you to support with classroom based tasks and also work on a 1:1 basis supporting children with a range of special educational needs including; Learning disabilities Social and Emotional Difficulties ADHD ACES Autism Although the role is based in a secondary school, our client is happy to consider candidates with a passion for education who come from care work backgrounds. Candidates with qualifications in Health and Social Care, Counselling Skills are also highly desired. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and passionate team.

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with experience working with young people with on a one to one basis? We are currently working with a school based in Brighton & Hove that cater for students (aged between 7-16) with complex social and or emotional needs, most children will have an Education, Health and Care Plan that identifies additional learning disabilities and/or difficulties. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience of working with young people with Social, Emotional or Mental Health Difficulties, experience within an Alternative Provision is not essential. Teaching Personnel are working with a Brighton based Special Needs school that is looking to recruit prospective future teachers who can fulfil the role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to start with them in October/November for the remainder of the academic year or until May half term at least. The successfully appointed future teacher(s) would start with the school as soon as possible but ideally no later than the Monday 2nd November (following the half term). Teaching Personnel are searching for confident support/teaching assistants to join a Pupil Referral Unit in the Middlesbrough area. Roles are currently available on a day to day (bank work) and long term basis as the school settles into the new academic year and new referrals are commencing in school.
