Teaching Personnel are currently seeking to appoint a full time SEN Teacher with responsibility for the progress of a small number of pupils within a SEN School setting. The School in question is situated in the Asply area of Nottingham and specialises in supporting students who present with ASC and SEMH. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, teaching and tracking pupil progress.

Welcome back to the new academic year 2020 - 2021! We have been inundated with reeferrals for 1:1 tuition requests since the schools reopened last week, and we are anticipating a high volume to continue coming through over the next couple of weeks! If you are a Tutor, or a Teacher interested in undertaking 1:1 work, then we would be delighted to hear from you! We work with a broad range of Local Authority Clients and independent provisions, including: Virtual Schools (specifically for Looked After Children) SEN teams for pupils with EHCP SEN teams for pupils with no EHCP but no school placement Alternative provisions Specialist independent provisions for SEN pupils  We are looking for tutors who are: Passionate about making a difference to some of the most hard to reach, vulnerable young people Interested in part time OR full time work (each referral is different depending on the levels of funding and how disengaged the pupil may be) Experienced in planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons in core subjects and any other subjects the students require (on an individual basis) Experienced with SEN in particular with Mental Health, anxiety, Autism and challenging behaviour Experienced and/or knowledgable in Attachment Disorder and the impact of Childhood Trauma Confident to manage challenging behaviour where required Able to engage disaffected pupils and try to encourage them to participate in education  Able to work professionally with foster carers and residential home staff Competent at providing detailed, extensive feedback outlining student strengths and areas for development For additional information or if you are interested in this type of work, please apply or call the branch today on the number provided!

Teaching Personnel are working with a Local Authority in Nottingham who are in need of creative Mentors to work with LAC children. The Local Authority support Primary and Secondary aged students who present with: SEMH and Challenging Behaviour ASC ADHD MLD and SLD Anxiety They are looking for tutors/mentors who are are able to offer these students a creative education and a more pastoral type of support. They are particularly interested in individuals who have skills in the following subjects: Art and D&T Drama / Music Construction/ Woodwork/ Joinery Film/Photography Sports Cooking As a tutor/mentor you would be requires to offer support to the student from a couple of hours to multiple sessions a week, and be required to complete weekly feedback on the students progress, achievements, behaviour, and self-esteem/confidence. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
