Learning Support Assistant – SEN  We are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Secondary School in Cardiff. In this role you will be responsible for supporting pupils with Special education needs in small groups or on a 1:1 basis. The ideal candidate will already have experience of working with pupils that have Special Education needs and/or pupils with challenging behaviour. In this role you will possess strong relationship building skills as you will be supporting individuals that  may have a barrier to their required support.

Our partner school situated in Cardiff is looking to expand their specialist team of teaching staff as soon as possible. This  provision caters for children and young people aged 3 to 19 who are have a wide range of SEN including Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound & Multiple Difficulties and Autism. They currently require an SEN Teacher to work in their primary phase with children aged 5 to 11. The role will involve working with children who are at different stages of the spectrum.


WELLBEING MENTOR NEEDED – ASAP START – DAILY RATE £61.20 - 75 – CF3 AREA (CARDIFF) – FULLTIME ROLE Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a wellbeing mentor to start in a secondary school in the CF3 area. Our school are looking for a mentor to support with Mental health and Behaviour within a secondary provision. You will be required to support on a full-time 1:1 basis from now to the end of the academic year.

The successful SEN Teacher will need to:  To undertake the teaching of students with a range of Special Educational Needs, those with Education Health and Care Plans, and particularly learners with Autistic Spectrum Disorder Promoting inclusivity by setting clear learning objectives, enabling full access to the curriculum and any extra-curricular activities Use of assessment data to inform future lesson planning and learning materials to motivate and support all students to make good progress Setting high expectations for pupil behaviour, learning, motivation and presentation of work, by establishing a purposeful working atmosphere and providing challenging and inspirational learning experiences, in line with specific school policies Providing physical and communicative support to pupils, using appropriate modes of communication, catering to the individual needs of the pupils Providing support in a manner which facilitates the pupils' cognitive development, by removing barriers to learning, co-ordinating intervention activities to promote attainment Supervise and guide the deployment of support staff providing physical pupil welfare, assisting with physical needs as appropriate and agreed e.g. assisting with lifting, moving and handling and intimate care What we need from you? Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant Rate of Pay: £10.20 per hour.  The school: The school is an large 3-19 SEN School which has a fantastic reputation in the SEN sector. They work collaboratively to implement and embed a curriculum that not only enables the children to flourish but to have their individual needs met in the highest regard.


We are working collaboratively with a head of a client special school based in Cardiff. We are looking for 3 individuals to work within their specialist provision as Teaching Assistants. The pupils at this provision may have a number of complex emotional and behavioural needs and successful candidates will need to have experience supporting children with complex requirements. Pay for this role will be based on a sliding scale from £10.

Supporting pupils with Additional learning needs & Autism aged 11-18 years old Full Time Mon-Fri-8:15-3:15 Opportunity to work within a specialist facility attached to a mainstream Secondary school Patient & Caring approach needed Must have a nurturing and positive outlook on supporting additional learning needs I have been tasked by a Secondary school in Cardiff to support in their recruitment as they look for a member of staff to support pupils with additional learning needs and autism within their designated unit. The school have highlighted the need for an extra member of staff to start after the Easter break for the rest of the academic year with the possibility of being offered a school contract for September. The level of support required would be primarily on a one-to-one basis and occasionally you will be working alongside the lead Teacher to support small groups of pupils with various lessons.
