The students at this centre are often from deprived backgrounds, primarily with behavioural and learning difficulties, in addition to problems with their social, emotional and mental health. A cluster of Trafford schools are looking to us to fill a part time postion witihn their schools. This role is a Speech and Language Therapist, who would provide 1:1 and small group support to children aged 8-16 with Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autisum Spectrum Condition and Social, Emotional, Mental Health and challanging behaviours. This role is initally to start after the Easter break on a part time basis, but if there is a positive progress within the first few weeks to a month, there will be scope to increase to a more full time programme (only if you want this to) If you're interested in this role and have the qualification to be a bespoke Speech and Language Therapist please send your cv All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. We are recruiting for a Mental Health Support Worker for a school in the Trafford area. Children have found it difficult settling back into school after the disruption caused by lockdowns and require support integrating themselves back into their curriculum. We are offering the successful candidate the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young children with SEN. This would be working with children aged 8-16 years at a specialised SEN secondary school, primarily with SEMH and BESD.
