A special needs school in Birmingahm city centre are currently seeking a teaching assistant to start on 8th March. The school cater to students with autism, Down syndrome and complex needs from the ages of 14-19 years. To be successful in the role you must have classroon experience working with SEN children.  As a teaching assistant here you will be supporting the  classroom teacher by creating an engaging learning environment and also becoming part of the ‘family'.


Special Needs Support Required Based in a secondary school supporting Autism, ADHD, Social Emotional & Mental Health Easter Start Date    We have been asked to recruit a special needs teaching assistant full time from Easter until the end of the academic year. The headteacher has identified a number of students who will need additional support following the current pandemic and most recent lockdown. It's essential that the transition for the pupils is as smoothly as possible. This is an excellent opportunity if you are a recent graduate coming to the end of your degree or someone who is looking for a career change!


We are working very closely with an Alternative Provision that provides 1:1 tuition to pupils throughout the Nottingham City area. With the current Coronavirus outbreak we are expecting a huge increase in referral requests from March to aid pupils to catch up on education that has been missed. We are looking for tutors who can offer 1 or more core subject.  The pupils need support to ensure that they do not fall too far on their education following missing chunks of school or need support with engagement.


We are working with two Autism Specialist schools in Nottingham city who are looking for an experienced teacher to work in KS2/3 mainly. (Also there may be the option to work to work with the SLT team in the future, so any previous SLT experience is desirable) Both Schoosl cater for students from year 4 through to Post 16 - so this is a great chance to work with a variety of age groups. In addition to this, the Schools are an Autism Specialist School so pupils will present with ASC and associated communication, social, sensory and learning differences. Facilities at the Schools are incredibly modern, is a purpose-built school specifically planned to meet the needs of learners with autism, including specialist sensory areas, a dance studio, PE hall, library, art studio, music room and training kitchens ect (depending on which school).


Behaviour Support Mentor Are you confident managing challenging behaviour? Do you want a full-time role in a Bristol secondary school? Role: Behaviour Specialist Support, KS3-4 Salary: GBP60-65 per day A secondary school near Horfield in Bristol are working closely to recruit a new behaviour support mentor. The role will start after the national lockdown and is full-time.


ADHD Support Mentor Do you have experience working with ADHD? Are you looking for a new challenge when secondary schools reopen? Role: ADHD Specialist Support, KS3-4 Salary: GBP60-65 per day We are currently working in partnership with an academy near Kingswood in Bristol. The school are looking to recruit an ADHD specialist mentor, to start after the national lockdown.


Autism Specialist Support Mentor Do you have experience supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Are you looking for a new role in a secondary school after the national lockdown? Role: Autism Specialist Support, KS3-4 Salary: GBP60-65 per day We are currently working with a secondary school near Keynsham in Bristol. The school are looking to recruit a proactive and confident autism spectrum disorder (ASD) specialist mentor, to start after the national lockdown.
