A SEN Teaching Assistant is needed for a Post 16 College for Autistic students in the Sunderland area. This role has a September start and is long term with the potential to become permanent. Experience in supporting children with these needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for. Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant qualification to at least Level 2 or be prepared to study on our course to obtain that qualification, but if not another relevant education qualification such as a PGCE or Youth Work qualification is needed.
