client on a flexible supply basis.
The Role:
As an SEN teaching assistant, the role can vary from school to
school and can include the following duties;
Academic support
Behaviour mentor
Assistance with communication
Run or assist with Nuture groups
Personal care and toilet training
Working inside or outside the classroom with individuals or
groups
Nurturing children's physical, social and emotional
welfare
Keep records and attend review meetings
Requirements
As an SEN teaching assistant you will work with children with a
range of SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SLCN, and PD, so experience in
one or more of there areas, or moving and handling training would
be desirable.
