We are currently recruiting teaching assistants who have experience of working with secondary students with autism to start in September 2022. This supportive and inclusive secondary school are located in Wandsworth, London and is close to the overground and underground, making it easily accessible to all transport links. As a specialist secondary school, they are looking for individuals who are confident of working with students aged from KS3 - KS5 who have a diagnosis of autism and moderate learning difficulties. The role will be working in a set class of 8 - 10 students, where you will be supporting the teacher, working with students on a one-to-one basis, differentiating the work to meet the student's needs, maintaining students' engagement, managing and promoting acceptable behaviour, teaching acceptable social cues.
