We are helping the recruitment process of a client school in the Trafford area who are looking for an experienced Teaching assistant who can provide 1:1 full time support for a child with Autism.  As the child can display challenging behaviour at times, a candidate with previous experience with deflecting difficult situations and using tailored learning plans would be essential for this role.  This role would be working in a Ofsted rated ‘GOOD' school and would suit someone who will have a positive effect on the child they are supporting.  The school is planning to challenge and stretch their most able students so assisting the teachers in small groups or 1:1 learning would be beneficial in helping the students reach higher standards.
