As the new preferred partner of the Cornwall Association of Primary Heads, we are currently working with a number of Primary schools in the Plymouth who are looking to appoint some SEN Teaching Assistants.  Are you interested in a career in primary education? Are you passionate about supporting children in the early stages of their education? Are you confident, positive and empathetic with lots of energy?


We are looking for a mentor to work with young people on a 1:1 basis in a specialist SEN school/ Alternative Provision in Plymouth from September 2022. The school caters for children who are not in mainstream education with social and emotional difficulties. You will be working with a specific child to support their learning and wellbeing. The role is to start in September 2022 and will likely carry on through the academic year with the potential to become a direct contract.


September 2022: General Teaching Assistant We are recruiting a general Teaching Assistant, on behalf of our partnership school located in the PL1 area of Plymouth.  Your role as a General Teaching Assistant will be to support the children who may need additional guidance with their learning. You will need to learn how you can build positive learning relationships with these Primary children, in order to help them develop throughout their education. You could also be working across the school in different year groups.

The school requires an experienced professional who has the passion and determination to work with children. The selection of applicants will be based on a trial and interview with the school.   The School: This is a forward thinking mixed middle school with good reputation.


We are recruiting a SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a SEN school in Plymouth. The role is to start ASAP and will be long term until the end of the academic year. It is to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with secondary aged children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm, term time only.
