Teaching assistant/Transition support for Princes Trust program

We are delighted to be working alongside one of our partner Trusts in the Nottingham City Centre who are looking to add a 1:1 Transition support assistant to their team to work alongside their pupils who present with challenging behaviours. The role will be full time (Mon-Fri).

The role need a candidate who can support post 16 on a 12 week programme. The programme focuses on developing peoples skills and offering experiences that will help young people get and sustain employment, education or training opportunities.

The programme offers a nationally recognised qualification in employment, teamwork and community skills at Entry Level 3 - Level 2. As well as other certificates and qualifications.

The programme is broken down into a handful of key components. whether the young people know what they want to do or they're unsure, there is bound to be an element perfect for them along the way.

As well as those great things highlighted above, the Team programme also offers the following;

• A week packed with amazing outdoor activities during a residential stay away

• 2 weeks of project planning

• 2 weeks of project management and completion

• 2 weeks of work experience relevant to your chosen career

• A week of fine tuning your job searching skills with our support to help make sure your CV stands out!!

• 2 weeks of creatively supporting other people in the community
