The Role
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant 121 for Key Stage 3. As a Teaching Assistant 121, you will be part of the school team offering vulnerable children with Special Educational Needs additional support in the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant 121 your goal will be to give every child the opportunity to discover their unique strengths, identify their hopes and to empower them to shape their future. As a Teaching Assistant 121, you will work in partnership with schools and social care in Northallerton offering 121 support.

The specialist school caters for students in with special educational needs. The school offer brilliant facilities and resources to help give every child an opportunity to learn and develop. With excellent public transport links, but access to a vehicle would be advantageous.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant 121 role you must:
- Hold a driving licence, which would be preferred, but not essential.
- A DBS Certificate is an advantage but not essential, this can be arranged.
- Confident de-escalating challenging situations. Training would be an advantage but not essential.
We are committed to safeguarding children and young people. We take our responsibilities extremely seriously. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
