We are currently recruiting teaching assistants to work in a rewarding primary school in Lambeth. This supportive school are looking for teaching assistant to start in September who are keen to work within the education sector and are passionate about supporting students with special needs. This role will be a long term role working the full academic year and possibly longer. As a teaching assistant you will supporting students with a variety of special needs that include autism, speech & language difficulties and other complex needs. This role will require you support students in a variety of lessons such as music, arts, P.E. and also support students on a one to one basis developing motor & social skills, hand eye coordination and speech and language. 

The role:

  • Located in Lambeth, London
  • Full time - Monday to Friday
  • Long term opportunity with job security 
  • Working one to one or in class ranging from 6 - 8 students per class
  • Supporting students in numeracy, literacy, cooking, hand eye coordination & speech & language development
  • Working in creative lessons such as music, art, P.E. and cooking and outdoor activities
