GSL Education (support services) works alongside Schools in Islington, Haringey, Southwark, Camden and most of East & South East London supplying SIMS Administrators.
We are looking to speak to experienced school administrators who will be available for work from September.
Your new role :
As a school Administrator you will play an integral part in maintaining the vital functions of the school that ensure it runs smoothly. You will have the responsibility to provide administrative support to the whole school. Your duties will include answering the phone and greeting visitors, administrative duties including formulating letters, managing post, responding to emails, dealing with school meals administration, ordering stationery, paying invoices, handling monies, printing and photocopying and managing school systems like SIMS.

What you'll need to succeed
- The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a school office.
- You will have a working knowledge of SIMS systems.
- Schools expect all school Administrator and Secretaries to have a previous school-based office experience, excellent communication skills, an excellent telephone manner and displaying enthusiasm.
- An enhanced DBS is required for this post.
- Responsible to meet and greet students, parents, carers and visitors so must be able to create a friendly, warm and welcoming environment for all
- GCSE Maths & English grade C or above
- Excellent IT skills, with the ability to utilise the full range of Microsoft applications
- Well-developed organisational and communication skills and a ‘can do' approach to team working
- Experience and knowledge of SIMs would be advantageous, although full training can be provided
- Experience of finance administration and publicity/communications administration would be preferable but not essential
