Job description

We are looking to appoint a hardworking and inspirational SEN teaching assistant to work within a developing school in the Bradford area. The Successful Applicant will be compassionate and nurturing yet still have the ability to find the balance between being firm but fair. We are keen to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting children who have been diagnosed with Autism and Autism Training as well as other special educational needs. The current school staff are highly supportive and work within an environment where creativity is actively encouraged. You will be part of an ever-growing team of excellent staff which offer career development opportunities for all staff. Both the staff and children are friendly and welcoming making the role a perfect place for the correct applicant.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and attributes:

• A background in special educational learning
• Have previous experience working in a SEND school
• Experience supporting pupils who have been diagnosed with Autism
• Excellent communication skills
• Compassion and Empathy
• The right to work in the UK

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. 

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
