Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant
Where – Newport, Special Needs Resource Base (SNRB) in a large secondary school.
When – Full Time, Monday to Friday. To start asap
Pay - £10.20 per hour minimum

We have also found that Graduates have excelled in the role due to their transferable skills and behaviors gained through their studies.
The role of a SEN teaching assistant is a vital part to any school, especially an SEN base. The successful SEN teaching assistant will be responsible for working on a 1 to 1 basis with a year 8 pupil who has Autism. Due to the additional learning needs the year 8 student, they will require help and support with their education and wellbeing.
Candidates do not require specific qualifications to be considered for the position. Personal experience of special needs children is valued in this role. Experience is not required; the ideal candidate must have a positive can-do attitude with a desire to improve the SEN classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
