Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Ealing
Daily Rate: £75 - £95 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are actively looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting children with Autism (PDA), SLD and SEMH. The role will entail supporting the class teacher and working with a variety of pupils, across the secondary age range, within classes.

This school is a mixed secondary school based in Ealing. The school believes in supporting learners with a range of special needs including Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Speech & Language Communicational Needs, Moderate Learning Difficulties and Hearing Impairment.

We welcome applicants who have a relevant qualification within Autism however proven experience without the qualification can be just as valuable.
 
The successful candidates will:

• Have experience of working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, SLD and SEMH
• The ability to use initiative and work well under pressure.
• The ability to communicate effectively with the children and other staff members.
• Assist students in their learning both on a 1-1 and group basis.
• Be a confident, outgoing and personable individual with a passion for helping people.
• Have a valid child-only enhanced DBS on the update service.
