SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Up to £9 per hour
Recruiter: Prospero Group
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant who has supported children with SEN on a 1:1 basis? I am working with a lovely, friendly primary school in Bolton that requires a patient, sensitive Teaching Assistant to support a child in Key Stage 2. The child is based full-time in their mainstream classroom, but requires help to engage and progress with their learning activities. The Teaching Assistant needs to have a calm, patient approach, and be able to provide plenty of encouragement and appropriate questioning and communication.
I would like to recruit an experienced, adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide excellent support for the child, and help them to make progress in all areas. You must be able to integrate into a staff team easily and be a patient and understanding person who can build relationships confidently with children with additional needs.
This role is to start on Monday 14th June, and will be for the full summer term up to the school holidays in July 2021. Prior experience of working in UK primary schools as an SEN Teaching Assistant is essential, and you will also need a relevant qualification to be considered for the role. It is essential that you have an Enhanced DBS on the update service, or are willing to pay for a new one at a cost of £45.80. If you are a sensitive person with strong communication skills, and are able to offer effective support to children with additional needs in all areas of their development, please apply now.
