SEN Teacher

Walsall

£120-£180 a day

We  are currently recruiting for qualified Teachers to join their supply pool working with SEN Schools and provisions in Walsall, beginning as soon as possible.

About the role:

  • You will be responsible for delivering the curriculum in an engaging way to small class sizes.
  • This will be a full time, ongoing role starting as soon as possible
  • Working effectively alongside support staff and a multidisciplinary team

About the School:

  • Friendly SEND School based in Walsall, catering for both primary and secondary age pupils.
  • The students here all have Education and Health Care Plans, where learning needs vary from moderate to more severe, including speech, language, and communication difficulties.

Who we're looking for:

  • Experienced teacher who is creative with their teaching methods, and who can create a calm and positive learning environment
  • The ability to adapt to difference teaching methods to suit pupils with all abilities and preferably a good knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • You must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with an SEN secondary or primary classroom or nursery setting (within the last 5 years) that we can gain references for.
