SEN Teacher (Sep03STE)

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an SEN Teacher for the new academic year. 

We work closely with a Chorley based SEN provision which caters predominantly for KS2 - 4 pupils with Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties and SEMH Difficulties. These pupils may often display challenging behaviours and candidates must be confident in their classroom management skills. 

Generally speaking, class sizes are under 10 pupils per class and you will always have a TA in this class with you to assist with behaviour management. The ideal candidate will have their Team Teach qualification and / or experience working in challenging settings. 

You will be required to deliver a range of subjects, including; Functional Skills, Outdoor Education and English - often at a KS2 / 3 level. The candidate must be flexible and  have a basic understanding of a number of subjects within the curriculum, but help with planning will be available. 

The role would suit a candidate with resilience, empathy, a good sense of humour and a 'can do' attitude. 

The role is full time and School hours are 8.30am - 3pm Monday - Friday! 

The successful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rate £105 - 140 per day
