Schools within the Rochdale borough are looking for experienced Support Workers to work in their schools supporting pupils with SEN in the classroom environment.

The role is open to all people of all abilities and experience inside the care or education sector. The schools are SEN Secondary schools for pupils with Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties. As a SEN Support Worker your role would be to support the children within the classroom and the surrounding environment of the school in aspects of their education and care. This could involve supporting tasks, playtime and lunch/break times.

The Ideal Support Worker Would Have:

  • Experience within SEN or care
  • A desire to impact the lives of young people
  • A patient and calm personality
