Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are QTS with relevant experience teaching within SEN Secondary.
We are working on behalf of a Secondary SEN School in Kidderminster who are looking to recruit qualified teachers with SEN experience for positions starting in September 2022. The positions are full time, permanent roles.
The ideal candidate will be experienced teachers of secondary education looking to develop within their career. The successful applicants will have the academic, teaching and administrative capabilities expected of staff at our prestigious client schools.
The school
Our client school provides full time education for children aged 11-17 in the care system, offering support in small groups and on a 1-1 education basis.
Our client is an established school that is graded as ‘Outstanding' by Ofsted and form part of a strong, multiagency and therapeutic approach which provides education for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, challenging behaviours and other associated learning and attachment-based needs.
To be considered for the SEN teacher role you must:
• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience of teaching at Secondary age level
• Excellent subject knowledge
• You will need to have a proven track record of delivering high quality lessons
• Passionate, positive and team player required
• Confident and strong classroom management skills
