Are you an experienced Plumbing tutor looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience working as a Plumber on site?

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Plumbing Tutor with experience of working on site and education. We work with a college in the South Yorkshire area who are looking for Plumbing Tutor to start as soon as possible potentially through to the next academic year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Teaching students all aspects of Plumbing within the workshop.
• Planning sessions and keeping students engaged.
• General administration as and when required.
• Carrying out workplace assessments, reviews and set action plans for apprentices.
• Working closely with Plumbers and keeping them informed of their apprentices progress.
• Preparing students for end point assessment by providing them with the knowledge and support they need to successfully pass their apprenticeship.

Ideally you will have:

• Teaching qualification (Cert. Ed/ PGCE or equivalent)
• Assessor A1 Award
• Practical experience on site
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Plumbing
• Experience of working with young people between 16+

To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must:

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
• Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
