Job description
This is your opportunity to utilise your experience and realise your potential by becoming one of our Education Specialists!
We'll match you to students based on location, availability & experience and you'll support them on a 1:1 basis in a 6 to 12-week placement.
The primary, secondary and post-16 learners are vulnerable and the majority have various SEN and/or SEMH needs and difficulty with emotional regulation, resulting in challenging behaviours and making it difficult for them to access mainstream school or curricula
Responsibilities:
- Use incredible pragmatism power to see behaviour as communication
- Employ incredible mind abilities to create engaging session plans
- Apply unrivalled person-centred nature to get to know students
- Transform the lives of marginalised young people through determination & skill
- Use your expertise to plan & deliver bespoke sessions tailored to their needs
- Prepare students to reintegrate into education or employment opportunities
Requirements:
- At least two years' experience of teaching young people
- Experience with a range of SEN including ASD, SLCN, anxiety & mood dysregulation
- Understanding of how to support learners with challenging behaviours
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge & commitment
