As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment where children can thrive and learn through play. You'll be a key part of the team, supporting children in their early years development, building lasting relationships with both children and their families, and making every day a positive experience for those you work with!Your day-to-day will include:
- Creating magical learning moments: Inspire children's imaginations with engaging activities, creative play, and hands-on learning
- Nurturing and supporting: Ensure that each child receives the care and attention they need to feel safe, happy, and confident in their surroundings
- Building relationships: Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and your nursery team to create a cohesive, family-like atmosphere
- Tracking progress: Observe, assess, and support children's development, providing regular feedback to parents and colleagues
- Being a role model: Promote positive behaviours, encourage social and emotional growth, and teach essential life skills
Who Are We Looking For?
We're looking for an energetic, compassionate, and dedicated individual who loves working with young children and is passionate about making a lasting impact. You'll bring:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or a related field
- A genuine love for working with children and helping them grow
- Experience in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential)
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- An enthusiastic and positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- A caring nature, with a focus on both emotional and developmental needs of children
