SEMH Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start
Location: Hayes | Daily Rate: £90-£102 | Long-Term & Daily Roles Available

Do you have the resilience, empathy, and experience to support children with social, emotional, and mental health needs? A specialist school in Ealing is seeking a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team, offering both daily supply and long-term opportunities.

About the Role
You'll be working with students across Key Stages 2-4 who require consistent, trauma-informed support to engage with learning and manage their emotions. The role involves one-to-one and small group support, behaviour de-escalation, and close collaboration with teaching and pastoral staff.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
  • GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Immediate availability
  • Confident, calm, and committed to inclusive education
