Our client, a well-established alternative provision setting in West Sussex, is currently seeking a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join their team and make a positive impact on the lives of students across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4.
In this role, you will have the chance to work alongside experienced educators, providing invaluable support to pupils with diverse learning needs. The successful candidate will earn a competitive hourly rate of £27 to £30, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This part-time position offers the flexibility to maintain a healthy work-life balance while still making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs
- Assisting in the creation and adaptation of learning materials to suit individual student requirements
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Fostering a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Relevant experience in supporting learners with special educational needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
