KS3/4 Science

We are specifically working with a specialist school in Trafford, in particular their SLT, who have approached us to secure the services of an outstanding teacher of KS3/4 Science. You must be a genuine specialist who holds QTS in Secondary Science. This is a specialist school that deals with pupils with SEMH. Due to the high need and complexity of the students, the class sizes are small no more than eight pupils per class, with two TAs in class to help support behaviour and additional needs.

Our school is easily accessible from the M60 or via - although public transport links are strong too with regular local bus and tram services available. Our school has a good reputation in the local area and was graded as 'Good' during its last OfSTED Inspection.

This position is five days a week, full time, from April 2021.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree educated with a good classification
• Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in Secondary Science
• Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)
• Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE , YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
